Step 4: Shape the Dough

2. Place the dough seam-side up in a floured banneton basket or a bowl lined with a floured kitchen towel. Cover and refrigerate overnight.


Step 5: Bake Your Bread


1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) with a Dutch oven or baking stone inside.


2. Turn the dough out onto parchment paper, score the top with a sharp knife or razor, and carefully place it into the hot Dutch oven.


3. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Then, remove the lid and bake for another 20–25 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
